12.09-16.09.2016 in Lviv will be organized the training workshop as part of the project
Workshop «Management of housing sector and energy-efficient refurbishing of apartment houses» Training workshop will be organized from 12.09 till 16.09.2016 г. In Lviv in EUROHOTEL, str. Tereshkovcev, 6А. The workshop is organized by Lviv Housing Owners and Residential Real Estate Managers Association, Ukraine and the Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO), Berlin (Germany).
The event is organized within the project "HOME - The way forward for reforms in the housing sector: empowering grass-root homeowners associations in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine".
The workshop in Lviv continues the programme of training activities aimed at enhancing the professional knowledge for experts of the technical advisory centres (TACs) and overall capacity of the TACs established in the partner countries of the project. TACs have been established to provide information and advice to homeowners to improve awareness in the field of housing management.
Experts from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will discuss the experience of their countries on:
- development of housing management system;
- advantages and disadvantages of the apartment buildings through the establishment of the association of owners;
- technical administration in a multi-storied buildings;
- development and implementation of training programs in TACs for different target groups.
For the exchange of experience of the best housing management practices for the participants the visit to the association of owners of apartment buildings "Obereg" and the Lviv city TAC for associations of owners will be arranged. Study tour to Zhovkva will demonstrate to participants of the training the examples of energy efficient renovation and experience of cooperation of various stakeholders towards improving the energy efficiency at the city level.
During the training workshop, representatives of TACs and public organizations involved in the housing sector will be able to receive the necessary knowledge for planning and implementation of their activities. Experience and materials developed within the framework of the workshop will be distributed in partner countries among stakeholders in order to further support national reforms in the housing sector and development of proposals for incorporation changes to the national legislation.
